The Farm is located half way between the resort areas of Kona and the County seat of Hilo- on Lorenzo Road, one half mile above the Mamalahoa Highway and South Point Road junction.
A rare find in this secluded and sought after location. There are less than 20 parcels on this Road, averaging 20 acres in size. This heavily
forested Area, known for its abundant wildlife, is adjacent to Kahuku, the recent 116,000 acre addition to Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park. The new park area is a sprawling wonder of woodlands and rainforests, lava flows, and ancient archeological sites. It is home to rare and endangered plant, bird, and insect species found only in Hawai`i.
A short walk to the end of the road leads to thousands of acres of State Forest
Reserve and miles of hiking & hunting trails.
The Farm is hidden away at the end of an 1,800 foot long mowed driveway (left), at a comfortable 2,200. ft. elevation.
The Plat Map below shows the proximity to South Point Road, Hwy. 11, Volcanos Nat. Park and the Forest Reserve entrance.
The Farm is surrounded by Native Ohia and Fern forest and plentiful wildlife. To see an aerial view of farm click here.
It is a 12 mile drive down South Point Road to the Southern Most point in the United States, a popular place for fishing,
diving or kayaking, as well as whale and sunset watching.
From there it is a medium hike along the coast to the World Famous Greensands Beach - for sand surfing, body surfing, sunbathing and picnicking.
