Main House Photos...

The Main House features a Master Suite on the second floor with a large bedroom with sitting area, a 12 x 12 foot office and an extra room (now an art studio, it could be a bathroom), as well as a 12x12 foot Sun Deck and an 8x12 foot glass roofed rain or shine Lanai.

The first floor features the living room with a Free standing fireplace, a Country Kitchen with vaulted veiling and skylight and main bathroom, as well as three bedrooms- One small (good for baby), one medium and a larger guest bedroom with sitting area.

The second bath is located outside, aka The Bath House It is the highlight of many a visitors stay- to take a shower in the forest!

The Laundry Room is located on the back porch and has tile floor and fiberglass roof for lots of natural light.

Nestled at the edge of the native Ohia & Fern forest, the house is surrounded by lawns and tropical landscaping.

Photo at above right shows part of the back yard. To the left is the dog run area to the South of the front yard.

Below left photo is of the side yard, an area with Tree Ferns, Native Koa trees and Paper Bark trees.

Lower right shows garage.

Main House Interior Photos...

The Master bedroom has plenty of room for sleeping or sitting and reading or enjoying the incredible view of the living forest outside the large windows. You can watch the many varieties of birds just outside search for food or even building nests and raising their young.

If you have to put in some office time, it is a short walk to the large, well lighted, office, which features a special power system that prevents generator power surges from reaching computer equipment. (Note: Photo was taken when office was new- it is a bit more cluttered at the moment.)

Here is a shot of the Country Kitchen at left, with open beam ceiling and large 4x4 foot skylight and garden window. (Note: Hutch not included in sale.)

At right is the glass front fireplace. Yes, at 2,200 foot elevation, it does get cold enough some mornings and evenings for a fire, although most of the time the temperature remains in the 70's. As a bonus- there is a free lifetime supply of firewood on the property.

Caretakers House Photos...

This Caretakers, Guest, Mother-in-Law or Rental home includes 1,152 sq ft of Living Area including 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths and a 120 sq ft screened Lanai...

Home is accessible via cement ramp with handrail from driveway to back door...

The home is surrounded by approximately 3/4 acres of mowed lawns with many fruit trees, including oranges, grapefruit, papaya, banana and avocado....

Second bedroom is a private suite with an office nook, half bath and separate entrance.....

There is a shaded redwood deck with Hot Springs Spa with a thermo siphon solar water panel to help maintain heat when generator is off...

A new 6.5 kw air cooled diesel generator and a 400 gallon fuel storage tank have just been installed...

But, the home is mainly powered by a solar electric system with a dozen Arco solar panels, a bank of 12 L-16 deep cycle batteries and a Trace 1,500 watt inverter...

A new private driveway was just bulldozed to the home from the main driveway. There is also a driveway loop so no backing up is necessary when coming or going...

The living room has open beam ceiling, lots of light from windows on three sides and nice views of the orchard & forest from this knoll top setting...

In addition, there is a free standing glass doored fireplace for those cool winter evenings and mornings...

The kitchen is also well lit with two skylights and has nice "koa" laminate cabinets...

Just off the kitchen/dining area and living room is a screened in porch- with plenty of room for a porch swing or "outside" dining area.....

The home's Guest Suite has its own entrance and plenty of room for sitting, game table and sleeping...

There is also an office nook, as well as a private half bathroom in the Guest suite...

Other features of the Caretaker's house include a wall of storage in the master bedroom, a back porch storage area and a small work shop area under the house...
